Nairobi Safari Walk & Animal Orphanage
Two Kenya Wildlife Service favourites side by side at the national park gate: a raised boardwalk through Kenya’s habitats, and the orphanage where rescued animals are cared for. Ideal for children and school trips.
The Safari Walk is a raised wooden boardwalk that takes you through wetland, savannah and forest, with animals you might not see on a short game drive. Next door, the Animal Orphanage cares for wild animals that were orphaned, injured or rescued and can’t yet survive on their own.
Both are run by the Kenya Wildlife Service and sit right at the main gate of Nairobi National Park, so you can do both in a relaxed morning. Combine it with the Giraffe Centre or the Sheldrick elephant nursery for a full Nairobi wildlife day.
