Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Meet the last two northern white rhinos on Earth, watch chimpanzees at Kenya’s only chimp sanctuary, and look for the Big Five with Mount Kenya behind you.
Ol Pejeta is a working conservancy with a lot to show you in a short time. Najin and Fatu, the last two northern white rhinos, live here under 24-hour guard. Standing near them is a quiet, strange moment. The Sweetwaters sanctuary gives a home to chimpanzees rescued from the illegal trade.
The conservancy also holds a large population of black rhinos, along with lions, elephants and buffalo. The equator runs through it, so you can tick that off too.
